Naturally Whiten Your Teeth

Get Whiter Teeth...by using Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda

You don't need pricey dental treatments to get your teeth gradually whiter. One easy way is to use two common ingredients you likely already have in your home or medicine cabinet: baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.

How to Use Peroxide & Baking Soda for Whiter Teeth

1. Use the right hydrogen peroxide - 3%, and only a variety that doesn't have stabilizers or added chemicals. Check the ingredients list and see that the only ingredients in the bottle are hydrogen peroxide in the 3% strength and distilled water.

2. Mix enough hydrogen peroxide and baking soda together to make a thick paste.

3. Use this as a replacement for your regular toothpaste a few times a week. Make sure to spit all of it out of your mouth.

4. For extra whitening action, you can follow up with a Hydrogen Peroxide mouthwash. Just mix half hydrogen peroxide (again, only the kind with no additives and a 3% strength) with half distilled or tap water. Swirl around in your mouth as long as you can, and then spit it all out.

You will definitely notice your teeth getting whiter if you do this on a regular basis! As with any dental routine, make sure to check with your dentist or hygienist to make sure they approve of this new dental technique.
