Coffee Flavorings
Submitted by Tina

"1- I mix cinnamon in my coffee grounds- also rids some of the bitterness from the coffee

2- They also make several variety of flavored syrups that one can use to pour into coffee.

3- I have a Pampered Chef cheese grater that I leave a whole nutmeg in which is wonderful to add a few grates of nutmeg in the coffee grounds for brewing

4- for a sweet cherry taste I add a few drops of marschino cherry juice into fresh brewed coffee.

More Coffee Enhancers

"Cinnamon sticks.. used as stirrers are the best i know of. Powdered Nutmeg, whipped cream, and a dab of ground cinnamon will make a heck of a morning pickemup. Vanilla beans placed in coffee grounds will also flavour your coffee - they will absorb the vanilla essense (i like to do this to sugar). Vanilla extract will also flavour your coffee - but go lightly if it's artificial flavouring cuz it will taste metallic with too much. Chocolate or cocoa is another good natural flavouring. With all of these, it's to taste as everyone likes something different. =)"
