Kool-Aid Play Dough

1 1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup salt
1 pkg unsweetened Kool-aid (just the dry koolaid, don't mix it into juice)
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 Tbsp vegetable oil

In a bowl, mix flour, salt and kool-aid. Stir in water and oil Knead with hands for about 5 minutes. Store in ziploc bag for up to 2 months. Use like playdough. Smells wonderful and takes on the color of the koolaid.

PLAY DOUGH

Mix:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2 teaspoons cream of tartar (Yes, go to the grocery store in the spice area if you don't have this on your shelf. Don't leave it out.)

Add:
1 cup water
1 Tablespoon oil
several drops of food coloring
Cook, stirring briefly, until the mixture pulls away from the pan. (This may take a little muscle power, but the results are worth it!)

Knead immediately - or use a Kitchenaid mixer if you have one, with the dough hook on. Knead until smooth.

Store in airtight container.
