From Barbara in Wisconsin: "I have been using castor oil on my face for 15 years. Just one drop on my finger, I put around my crow's feet and lines around my mouth. I am 68 and my daughter who uses commercial facial cream ,looks older than me. The same 4 ounce bottle has lasted 10 years. It doesn't stink or being sticky because I only use one drop. Many people comment on my beatiful skin." GREAT GIFTS FOR PETS Tina D. from Texas writes: "Our dogs (we have 7 of them) like the fuzzy toys. Be sure they squeak. That way they can make lots of noise. You can get pet toys for next to nothing at Walmart. More expensive is not necessarily better. Ours end up tearing them up anyway, and pulling all of the stuffing out of them (and making a mess). I think it's a "group" effort. Our house looks like "doggie daycare". One thing they enjoy playing with, that's basically free, is toilet paper and paper towel rolls (just the cardboard). They will even dig the tp rolls out of the garbage can. (of course, if they can get their paws on it - they also like to shred the toilet paper and paper towels)." The recipes readers have been asking for... ~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~**~~** Occidental Hotel Hot Fudge Sauce Thanks to Pat for sending in this reader request for the BEST Hot Fudge Sauce Recipe 1 tsp salt 2 cups sugar 2/3 cup cocoa 6 Tbl flour Mix all of these ingredients well in a saucepan. Add: 2 cups milk and cook until thick. Add: 2 Tbl butter and 2 tsp vanilla. Heat until butter is melted. Stir well and serve. -------------------- BRUNCH PIZZA Recipe From Tina in Texas :) 1-lb. pork sausage One 8-count can crescent rolls 1 cup frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 5 eggs, beaten ¼ cup milk ½ tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese Whole pimentos (optional) Sprigs of oregano (optional) Brown sausage in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Separate roll dough into eight triangles. Arrange triangles with points toward center in greased, 12-inch pizza pan (I just use an oblong baking pan), pressing bottom and side to cover pan; seal perforations. Spoon sausage over prepared layer; sprinkle with hash brown potatoes and Cheddar cheese. Pour mixture of eggs, milk, salt & pepper over top. Bake @375 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake 5 minutes more. Top with pimentos and oregano.
