Remove Crayon Marks from Walls
Stephanie submitted this tip:
"Also, use a hair dryer to get crayon off of painted walls and pretty much anything, just heat the wax with the hair dryer and then get a rag with some baby oil on it and rub it off."
Tin Foil For Shining
Stephanie says:
"Shine your stainless steel kettles, toasters and sinks with tin foil. Just rub the metal with the foil and it will come sparkling after a good rinse."

Berry Zucchini Nut Bread
Submitted by Dorina
Serves 20
Not just for the holidays, serve this any time of the year with softened cream cheese.
3 eggs
1 cup canola oil
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups zucchini, grated
2/3 cup carrots, grated
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup walnuts
3 ounces sun-dried berries, I like cranberries or "Craisins"
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour 2 9x4 inch bread pans.
Beat the eggs slightly and add the oil, sugar, and vanilla. Mix well. Add the grated zucchini and carrots and mix well. Sift the flour, salt, cinnamon, baking powder and soda together. Add to the egg mixture and blend until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Add the nuts and berries. Stir to distribute evenly.
Pour the mixture into the floured bread pans and bake for 65-75 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Once the loaves have rested for about 5 minutes remove them from the pans to a cooling rack. Allow them to cool completely. Once cool, wrap them in plastic wrap and chill.

Chocolate Stout Silk Pie
Submitted by Sue B.
Source: Tapp's Brewpub and Steakhouse in downtown Saint John, New Brunswick
INGREDIENTS FOR THE CRUST: 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers, 1/3 cup melted butter
FILLING: 12 oz. semi-sweet or bitter-sweet chocolate (chocolate chips work well), 24 large marshmallows, pinch of salt, 2/3 cups stout, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 tbsp. creme de cacaso liqueur (light or dark will work).
DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 350° F. Add melted butter to crushed graham crackers and mix until well blended. Using fingers, press crust mixture into bottom and up the sides of a pie pan. Bake crust for about 6 minutes until set (you can alternatively use a ready made graham cracker crust). Place chocolate, marshmallows and salt in a blender. Blend until well mixed and chocolate is finely ground. In two separate saucepans (in order to prevent curdling), heat stout and evaporated milk until very hot but not boiling. Pour stout and milk into blender and blend for one minute. Add vanilla and creme de cacao and blend. Pour into the crust and refrigerate overnight. Garnish with whipped cream.
SERVES: 6 to 8.
